Watch it now! - https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/847586

iu_674869_6930962.png

Fantastic results and feedback on our trailer. We managed to hit top 5 in P-Bot Daily Picks. For a trailer with little views and going against some very popular releases. We're super happy with the end results. We cannot wait for you guys to see what the team has come up with throughout this year.

Someone had asked me why am I doing this collab, and I thought I would write this up. Well, there are loads of reasons. I think it's ever since I was part of the Freaky Fred Reanimated. I found that there was an audience for horror and creepy animation.

Secondly, what was good about the last collab was that a ton of animators got highlighted and some have excelled to where they are now big on Newgrounds. I believe some have gone onto work in the animation industry. I like those stories, even if we only played a tiny part. It's nice to see artists that would've easily been missed get those muched deserved eyes on their work.

When my YouTube channel hit 100k. I somewhat looked back at the struggle of what it took to get this far. Then my thoughts turned to other animators. There is a thing where for every one successful artist, there is like a 1000 who didn't succeed. So, similar to my last collab. I want put a spotlight on the new and talanted artists that deserve that break. I like to help and give them that boost where it could get them more eyes, more work, or unlock doors for their career. I don't really care that I gain nothing out of this. What is important for me helping the next generation of artists.

So please, check out some of these artists and give them some much deserved attention. Here are some links to their WIP!

Thank You and Enjoy the Summer! <3

Kind Regards

If something appears, we will contract you if you're still interested. However, everyone on the collab would like to say thanks to the Newgrounds staff and community. The sequel will DEFINITELY be bigger and better.

Thank you and we will update you on the collab progress!

One example of the amazing work and creative idea by https://twitter.com/MohdFikree

Progress on the project is going swimmingly well. Massive respect to the people on the collab, they deserve to not only have thousands of eyes on their work...but I believe many deserve employment in the industry. It's my belief that people on this project (If given the money and time) could create an amazing video game movie. Better than the ones that Hollywood likes to crap out.

We only have 13 scenes left unclaimed :O

So if you or someone wants to join a big project and work with an amazingly talented team of animators and artists. Please click the NG link for more info: https://badtwinz.newgrounds.com/news/post/1234110

A few more completed scenes and we'll have a trailer ready for Newgrounds and the internet to watch. Please, check Collab Twitter as we retweet the animator's work for you to see and follow the progress. Seriously. They deserve it.

Big thanks to NG and the community for progress so far. We believe that you enjoy what we have been working on :)

All the best

Alas, even the good times must come to an end.

iu_543564_6930962.webp

I have worked in different jobs in the past...but my experience thoughout my first season was without a doubt the best out of all the jobs I've worked. Yesterday was my final day for the animation first series, Milo. Honestly, it's a bit sad that it has come to an end. I have worked in heating, plumbing, customer service, and etc. They're weren't the greatest jobs or do I have a ton a good memories there. But for this, I have ZERO complaints about my time ever since I started in 2020.

It's something that all artists, animators and creative people will have to deal with in the industry and move onto something next. Some things do come to an end and you to be ready for afterwards.

So whats the next plan? Well I did have a thought about it. Beside some personal things happening, I have decided to take a short break and work on shorts, focus more on the recollab, other projects and work on commissions. Travel a bit more before I jump back into the industry.

I have patreon if wish to support: https://www.patreon.com/BadTwin

This next animation is in the works and hopefully will be done soon. This is mainly for those who worked in retail or customer sevice and dealt with an arrogant customer...but with dinosaurs.

Thanks again and wish me all the best for the upcoming months! <3

Great news.

One month after the announcement. Around half of the shots have been taken with some already being completed.

iu_530468_6930962.png

ONE WIP that looks amaaaazing: https://twitter.com/PsychoEnigmaYT/status/1483227867718770696

Already love the crew. Even getting some NG legendary animators that I remember watching back in 2005-2009 join the collab which is fucking awesome.

We still have many shots available for animators to take part in. Please click on the link and follow the information on there! ~ https://badtwinz.newgrounds.com/news/post/1234110

Looking for Voice Actors and a DINOSAUR

The next animation is coming along. We're just missing a few bits. We need someone to voice a kid breaking stuff. We also need help with dinosaur sounds. Not demanding or something long. Just a few quick things.

The dinosaur. Derek. We need some dinosaur-sounding growls, grunts, sighs, crickets that is dealing with an annoying customer. We have an animatic sorted that we can show for reference.

iu_530467_6930962.png

If yourself or know someone that can create dinosaur noises then please message me here or on Discord (BadTwin#7091).

Thank you

"Lordy, 2021 went quick didn't it?"

Firstly, let me say happy holidays to everyone here on Newgrounds. I hope you had a fun time watching Christmas specials, enjoying the holidays, and have set yourself some great plans for 2022. I did a post last year about what I did in 2020. So I thought I give a quick run-down on my animation career and journey throughout 2021. Hopefully, they'll inspire and motivate you champions

Sooooooo let's go! :D

So the TV series, Milo that I am lucky to be a part of has aired on TV and received positive results and feedback.

iu_510167_6930962.png

It's honestly really sweet and finally cool to see your name at the end credits. Knowing that what you worked on is being seen by tons of families across the country and world.

You can watch some clips on YouTube if you are curious. Perfect if you have kids!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1Jfk3HwjK4

Shortly afterwards, Milo was shortlisted and nominated for the Best Pre-School Programme by the Broadcast Awards 2022!

iu_510168_6930962.png

I will have my fingers crossed. But I am already stoked and happy that our hard work hasn't gone unnoticed and has been shortlisted. So very happy about that! :)

Two animations based around the Friday Night Funkin game were released this year. When posted onto YouTube. Week Zero exploded where it reached 1m views in a few days...then 10 million....THEN 20 MILLION VIEWS

iu_510165_6930962.png

It now sits comfortably with 26 million views and over 400k likes. This is something that many content creators dream of happening. It didn't sink in until many days later and thought I was still dreaming.

...then it got better.

My YouTube has reached a big milestone. 100k Subscribers. I know it's not big compared to those with millions. But this was a massive achievement for me. I remember back in school that classmates were bragging and dreaming about getting this. For me to be the first in my circle and finally achieve this was an amazing feeling.

It is also a nice reminder and a big "fuck you" to all of my old teachers and enemies who said I wouldn't achieve or get anywhere with animation.

iu_510170_6930962.png

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

I've also done a TON of commissions for so many people online. Even catching the eye of one Tarkov Streamer, KaptainKayy. Who wanted a sexy pic for his favorite gun. Honestly, not the weirdest thing I've drawn, but glad it made KaptainKayy laugh and was shown to his audience.

https://www.patreon.com/posts/tarkov-meme-60111253

I'm sure some of my followers have seen a few of them. They have been a big help in paying some unexpected bills and got to know some pretty swell people haha. I would like to continue doing them as a side thing for funsies.

iu_510171_6930962.png

I got to be a judge for the final round of the summer jam 2021. Thanks for the invite @BrandyBuizel. It was nice to see all the entries throughout the summer. Big congrats to @Awful-Ike @Stradomyre and @test-object and to the top ten winners. You guys rocked and have a promising future ahead!

The shirt kicks ass!

iu_510169_6930962.png

Now for the last big one...Resident Evil 2 REANIMATED!

A sequel to 2020 Resident Evil REANIMATED has been announced and is underway. I have decided to host and work on something that is considered by most the best resident evil game in the series. I was really proud of how the RE1 Reanimated came out and highlighted some of the amazing talents in the Newgrounds community.

https://badtwinz.newgrounds.com/news/post/1234110

With just over 100 scenes for grabs. It's a nice bit of fun for those who want to be a part of something big. I would like to use this collab to promote and give as much attention to the artists that truly deserve it. I'm planning on releasing it in LATE-2022.

Overall. It's been a decent year. Sure, I had to deal with some problems like kidney stones, a cancer scare, and saving people from being killed (another story for another time). But overall, it hasn't been a bad year. I've already got something more planned for the future that will be announced soon.

I hope to create more shorts and a variety of animations for my Newgrounds and YouTube pages. I want to try to avoid the trap of being known for one thing and the audience eventually gets tired and moves on.

Big thanks to everyone and everyone on Newgrounds. Stay safe and see you all in 2022!

“When someone tells me "no," it doesn't mean I can't do it, it simply means I can't do it with them.”

- Karen E. Quinones Miller

500 Fans and 100k YouTube Subscribers. I wouldn't have got this far if it wasn't for Newgrounds. I recently received something that I'd never thought I get my hands on. A Silver YouTube Play Button plaques. I am truly grateful for the support and help that the Newgrounds Community has done for me. From this achievement to improving myself in animation, and finally to employment in the industry.

I recommend Newgrounds on a monthly basis to aspiring artists and animators. I believe Newgrounds helped me and played a part in me getting this far. Thus, I am grateful and always try to get other Newgrounds artists, animators, and VA, work or opportunities. I believe some did get that boost to achieve great things and even work in the industry after some nudges. Well done to those. This is what I want and these stories make me happy. I understand that the vast majority will go through a tough road. As someone who got those lucky breaks and managed to see to the end. I like to help Newgrounders with an amazing heart to be able to achieve their goals as well.

I know I've said this a million times, but it is really about staying on track and going forward. Even if you fail 100 times. You continue on. No matter what happens or what other people say.

Thank you and all the best to everyone at Newgrounds!

So another good piece of news has popped up. Throughout 2020 and now. I've been working on an animated TV show that recently aired in the United Kingdom. A lovely show called MILO. Where Milo and his friends explore different jobs and go on wacky adventures. It seems to have gone down pretty well! :)

"Take that high school who said, "iT bE tOo HaRd FoR yOu HeRp De Derp".

Very proud of this and very happy with the team. It has been seriously busy over the past several weeks but nice to see our work is paying off.

iu_308769_6930962.png

Some other good news. On my YouTube Channel. I am dead close to hitting 100k subscribers and getting my grubby hands on that silver play button. I believe that I will hit my goal this year. This YouTube/Newgrounds thing will give me an opportunity and chance for different paths in life. Where I believe if I hit rough times again. I can fall back onto Newgrounds and YouTube be able to keep myself above the waters for a short time.

So thanks again to you guys. I enjoy sharing these stories because I know soo many artists, animators and creators want to break into the industry. I know it's bloody hard. But I like to think that these stories can not just show the progress I have made. But also offer some motivation and inspiration to those who dream about working on an animated show in their future. You can fucking do it. For me, it was a long and hard road with barely any lucky breaks. But you can do it. There are so many animators who started on Newgrounds, who ended up being great industry professionals.

More work is coming for you sexy peeps. FNF: Week One is underway and an SCP Short Animation Storyboard has been completed.

Hello.

So I'm sure you're familiar with past stories of YouTubers and Facebook Channels taking animators' work and reuploading it to their channel. Now It wouldn't be a massive problem, however with the recent Friday Night Funkin Jam and massive craze. It seems now that nearly every single one of the animators who got involved in the jam has;

  • Had their video reuploaded without their permission,
  • The channels have slapped ads all across
  • Cut out the credits or taking credit for your animation
  • Are making hundreds to thousands off your stolen work.

This has happened to me and now it's happened to everyone it seems. With so many animations getting millions of views and bringing more traffic towards Newgrounds and some well-deserved animators and artists. Now it seems these leeches are trying to make money off you.

"Good call on the watermark btw"

iu_281840_6930962.png

iu_281841_6930962.png

Oh look, it's @animatedzorox, @francyartist, and @altoons animations. I didn't know you guys shared a channel. I wonder how that works. I mean, look at all those ads!

This is just ONE example out of many.

I've contracted a few of them and managed to get some taken down. However, it seems that a few will go as far as lying to their audience about getting permission or just straight up ignore the warnings. They have no consideration for the people they've stolen from and are still reuploading your Friday Night Funkin Animations.

DO NOT LET THEM EARN ANOTHER CENT ON THESE KINDS OF VIDEOS!

Animators have already get screwed by YouTube. But with the recent boom. Newgrounds and Small-Time Animators can now start making a name for themselves and get a chance to become professional animators that can earn something with their hard work. Newgrounds should be the main home for these animations, not from some selfish greedy kids. (and yes, most of these channels do this around the age of 18 or less.)

If you're a viewer and see this on YouTube, CONTACT THE ANIMATOR! I have messaged other animators so they can issue the takedown and stop them from earning another cent. And if you can, call these channels out.

Do not believe them saying, "Oh I'm sorry, I'll give you X and won't do it again." But in my experience. They'll just reupload others, ignore everything and repeat the process.
